The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has announced the interest rate for the 2015-16 financial year. Interest rate on EPF for April 15-March 16 to be 8.80%, up from last year’s 8.75%.
EPFO distributes interest rate as per the income generated from its investments every year and does not take money from the government.
